モチノキ科　　学名：Ilex integra

黐木。暖地の常緑樹林内に生育する常緑高木。雄の木と雌の木があり、樹皮から鳥もちをつくることができるのでこの名があります。果実は丸く、秋に赤く熟します。

This tall tree grows in evergreen forests. There are both male and female varieties. The bark is used to make birdlime. In autumn it produces round, red fruits.
