In particular, Hekigoto Kawahigashi gave his praise in a long piece titled “The Newly Discovered Beauty of the Kanaezaki Coast in Tosa” in Bungei Shunju magazine (October 1933 issue), saying, “You cannot talk of the scenery of Tosa without seeing the Kanaezaki Coast.”
